Welcome

Please continue to follow this page and I will be keeping it up to date with the up coming projects.
What a beautiful addition to the property down by the lake. So we are down by the right, well what do people need that live next to the lake? That's right a boat or camper, this is why it's 14' tall with 12' tall doors.
So simple but beautiful at the same time. This Shouse has a 40x40 living area and a 40x32 shop. The living area is 17' tall because we built a 2nd story on the back wall 12'x40' area and the rest was all grand opening. Can you imagine walking in the front door and seeing a huge open floor plan with 17' ceiling.

I know it isn't much but it was nice to be back to a customer's property that we already built for. Well in the third image, we built this huge all-wood timber/frame pavilion a couple of years ago. Well, we came back to build this bathroom to match what we have already built. I believe we nailed it, the owner was going to do some rock and woodwork after us.

So when it comes to keeping your cars or even some old classic/hotrods out of the elements you need a new shop, Right? Well, that's exactly what this customer did, this shop has 2 big 16' garage
Post-Frame shop
Bright White - walls
Crimson Red - Roof and trim
4" concrete
2 - 16'x9' garage doors
1 - 36" entry door
We also had to build up the area as you can see where the right side is about 2' off the ground. When we build any kind of pad we compact, compact and compact some more. I love knowing that nothing is going to happen to the floor in the future so we compact as much as we can.
So when it comes to keeping your cars or even some old classic/hotrods out of the elements you need a new shop, Right? Well, that's exactly what this customer did, this shop has 2 big 16' garage doors to fit 4 cars easily and some room on the right for other things.
Now the lean-to on the back is for some farm equipment to keep out of the elements as well. Lean-to is a cheap way to keep things covered.

Boy, this shop had its challenges. First, we had to get a variance because we were too close to the house and property line but passed. Then we had to move the overhead powerline, remove a huge tree, and gas line in the way. After all the opticals we produced a very sharp looking building with all the works too.

So many shapes and sizes we can on this Barndominium's and Shouse's. This one is what I call a T-shape because the 30x30 shouse part is centered with the 40x65 shop. I've built a few of these in the past but first time capturing pictures to showcase. This one is definitely one for the books.
